We went here on Thursday 28th December. We found the staff very friendly and welcoming. Drinks were good and average price. The food was lovely, plenty of it, and reasonably priced. Would l recommend this pub, yes definitely

Have just eaten here as me and the wife are on a breakaway to the New Forest and were looking for some traditional pub grub.
This rating is based on the food, I had a chicken bacon and leek pie, which came potatoes and a bowl of vegetables, and my wife had the burger and chips.
We were greeted warmly, the food came out in a very reasonable time frame and the food was extremely good as quite often it can be hit and miss with pub food. My slice of pie was ram packed full of chicken and tasted amazing. The roast potatoes were ok, nothing special. My wife commented that the burger was great quality meat, (her meal came with salad as well, but we asked for no salad). I loved the fact that the food was bot over salted and yet tasted fantastic. We paid a very reasonable £14.95 for each meal and was worth every penny. The atmosphere was good with the sports side of the pub brimming with people.
Woudl certainly recommend this place if you are in the area and fancy some decent pub grub

Wonderful place. No frills pub, your traditional local pub, but the food is out of this world, and certainly not what I was expecting. Lovely service and very accommodating for our large party of 15. Food was prompt and absolutely delicious

Really cozy little gem of a pub. Prefect of your driving through and want a quick and cozy bite to eat, parking is easy with a contactless payment parking around a 2 minute walk away in the train station car park. Really friendly and accommodating staff. We spent around £30 on food and drinks and it was an absolutely delicious feast. Around £15 pp for food. Would 100% recommend this to anyone who’s looking for a nice pub lunch in Brockenhurst

It's not often I will say somewhere is 5 star but the food, service, waiting time on food etc was all fantastic today!
The pub was fairly busy, but it was one of the best meals put I have had in a long time! The teepee outside was very warm and gave a great atmosphere!

Very close to the train station (Brockenhurst), not only their cool inside but also they have a lovely beer garden, so it’s a nice place to grab a pint while waiting for the train🍻

Delicious food and drinks! We had main courses, desserts, drinks and liquors. More importantly, great staff, very friendly and professional. Gives that spark of joy you'd like to find in a pub! Highly recommended, we'll definitely go there again in the future 😃

Lovely local pub with everything a local needs. They even had the foresight to get a backup generator so were the only pub in town open when the power went out in the town recently!
Very dog friendly — a great place to meet Al the local dogs of the town. Pool table and darts board for anyone who wants a game.
Haven’t tried the food but lots of pub grub that should cater to most family tastes.
A log burner in the corner makes this pub warm with atmosphere too!

A very popular destination by the number of people eating in the beer garden.
A lovely little pub with amazing food and very friendly table staff. The food was so good we went back again the next evening.
Highly recommended.

Lovely pub in the heart of Brockenhurst.
Staff great and provide really attentive service, despite the garden dining area being v busy, and the food delicious - watch out we shared the chicken wing starter and it is huge for two! The monkfish and prawn cheese pie and sea bass are highly recommended.
Looked after our four legged friend with minimal fuss - 🐶
