absolutely shocking. rudest staff i have even encountered. may as well have paid to visit karen’s diner at this point. me and a friend are out camping near here so thought we would go to the local bakery and then get a smoothie form this cafe. we sat outside eating our bakery food and one really nice lady came out to take our order. she took our order and asked politely if we could eat it quickly so we did. then this old lady came out of the cafe and stared at me and my friend for a good 2 minutes. she then walked further towards us shouting telling us to get out. we replied why? and she said because your eating food from another place how disrespectful. we replied extremely politely when we shouldn’t have and said we will put it away now so we started doing so and then she shouted at us refused to let us put our food away and told us to get out now we then were trying to explain we had already ordered and she refused to believe us and carried on shouting at us to leave the cafe then she said she was going to speak to her manager and never came back out? there was a family next to us speaking to us telling us we should report it so when we were finished with our smoothies we went in and asked to speak to the manager. the manager came out and spoke to us he replied so bluntly and carried the same attitude as the stinky lady. attitude stinks and is appalling don’t waste your time and money unless you want to put up with the disrespect when you are paying their company.

me and my friend where a bit peckish so we went to get something from a bakery near this cafe,we got to this cafe and ordered a smoothie and we got told to eat our bakery stuff quickly by a nice waitress so of course we said okay.2 minutes later this very rude lady came and straight away raised her voice and kept shouting at us to get out the cafe because we were being disrespectful by eating someone else’s food in their cafe we kept apologising and said we’d put it away as we’ve already ordered a smoothie but she wasn’t having any of it and kept being sarcatic and shouting in our faces she then said she’s going to speak to her manager so she went inside and didn’t come back out.then me and my friend got our smoothies and payed.after we finished we went to see the manager which payed no respect to us and said who did you want to speak to? we replyed the manger he said yes that’s me okay bye. so rude the rudest out of them was the lady with grey short hair glasses and quite small.will not be going back what a waste of £4.25 of my money.and the fact that me and my friend are only 14 this is absolutely ridiculous.Please do not come here if you don’t like being shouted at.

Awful customer service, very rude man who appeared to be management/owner. The waitresses serving were nice but the older man’s service was absolutely terrible, very rude.

food was really great but the service was so slow! the place was not particularly busy and yet we were waiting about an hour from when we sat down to when our meals actually came. other people seemed to be having the same issue and I think in the time we were there we only saw one or two other tables meals come out, so definitely wouldn't recommend if you're in a rush!

My son has special needs and is allergic to eggs and we tried to order a classic breakfast without eggs or tomatoes but was told they couldn’t do any changes. When I tried to explain I was told not to interrupt and that if I didn’t like it I could go elsewhere. So we did. Kid-friendliness: Not at all friendly to children with special needs.

Stopped here for brunch as we were passing through: There was a bit of a wait for food, but it was very busy and we were warned when we ordered, so fair enough. Staff were very good and reassuring in dealing with a nut allergy sufferer. From what we overheard at other tables they seem to be very good at catering for all dietary requirements. Will definitely come here again when we're next in the village. Dietary restrictions: Seems good, catering for gluten free and vegetarians, and staff were very attentive in ensuring my partner's nut allergy was catered for. Wheelchair accessibility: It would be quite difficult to get a wheelchair inside, but there was good access and parking space for a mobility scooter on the terrace where we were sitting.

We really didn’t have a pleasant experience with the staff at this restaurant. They aren’t very friendly at all and have a poor attitude. We ordered cake and a milkshake which were both passable but definitely not worth the price..the girl that served us didn’t even look at us, she just plonked the cake and smoothie on the table and walked off with a smirk. We tried to look past all of the staff members attitudes and just enjoy sitting outside. The old lady with the messy hair was the rudest of them all (we’re guessing that she is the owner..). Anyway, we won’t be stopping by here again.

Great location Great Service and fantastic coffee and cake.

If i could give lower than a 1 i would. Walked in and sat on the terrace. A young girl came to take our order who seemed very confused with general basics. I asked for a fulll English with no mushrooms, tomato and no egg- still offering to pay the same price just with a few less items. Had a load of rambling which wasn’t understood by the young girl. The owner then came out to say they could not help us and would not be prepared to serve my breakfast!! What??!! I am offering to pay the same money and less items! Absolute joke. The owners should not have a cafe they should infact have a job with no social interaction! Whilst we were there a lady and gentleman went in to order a coffee and were completely ignored and walked out. DO NOT VISIT THIS PLACE.

Giving this place 5 stars because a random donkey joined me for a hot chocolate. Made my day. Staff were also very sweet and chatty.
