I am so grateful to all the staff for making my daughter's half-term holiday. They were all so friendly and welcoming. She loved riding Freddie so much on Tuesday that we stopped off on our way home today for another led walk through the stunning countryside. I loved the walk too. The guide today chatted with us both all the way round and was really lovely.

Wonderful riding experience for the kids (8-11yo). Managed to book in over August Bank Holiday for a 30min led ride around Common. Parents are able to walk along side and take in the beautiful surroundings, take photos, etc. Friendly and accommodating staff.

We phoned up and were lucky to book a same day slot as a holiday treat for our 3yo and 6yo horse-mad boys. Everyone was very efficient and down to earth and put the kids instantly at ease - they were also very affectionate with the (patient and gentle) horses.
It was an extremely pleasant half hour walking through the woods alongside them and a few other children. Stables staff led the ponies and joked with the kids. A highlight of our holiday that the kids will remember a long time!

A grate experience for my autistic daughter who was bit nervous at first the pony handler was really good with her. Nice to walk with her worth every penny. My daughter has told me to write definitely coming back next year.

Not a great experience. Expensive for what you get. The lady in charge was a bit rude and didn't make our family feel welcome at all. The helmets were very old and the equipment on the horses wasn't much better. The guide was not friendly at all and was more concerned with complaining about a Shetland trying to keep up with the 2 horses he was leading. The route was plesent but no warning was given to the ground which was a mud bath which ruined one of the groups trainers walking next to her young child leaving her son alone up front. Thankfully my daughter didn't realise all this and fully enjoyed the trip.

My three year old had a really enjoyable first-ever ride on Sausage the Shetland. My husband and I were able to walk alongside her. Pony handler was fab and got involved in many renditions of ‘horsey horsey’ on the trek just shy of an hour. Booking over the phone was easy, clear instructions then and also on the day with regard to ensuring a covid-safe experience which we really appreciated. All staff we encountered were friendly and approachable. We were part of a small mixed group and it was clear they wanted to make sure everyone had the best possible experience for their needs. We’ll definitely visit again.

It was my second d Tim going and was really good. The horses and the stables are very well kept and hacking in the forest was a delight. I really enjoyed it and would reccomend to anyone who has an inspiration for horses.

Had an amazing hour of riding through the New Forest. When booking we were given clear instructions due to COVID and when we arrived, the checking and sorting of everything went smoothly. We had a mixed ability group but all had the opportunity to ride to our ability. All the staff were great, helpful and so friendly. Would highly recommend these stables and can’t wait to do it again. We rode Freddie and Mr Kipling. Thankyou all for an amazing experience on the afternoon of 5th September 2020.

My daughter (3) and nephews (6&7) absolutely loved their pony ride with brokenhurst stables. Most stables on the area do not cater for under 4s but they will take them from 2 at brokenhurst aslong as the smallest helmet fits. Went on an hour trek into the forest. Parents were able to walk along side. Even done a little trot which my daughter loved. Will definitely be back when holidaying in the forest and highly recommend. My daughter and youngest nephew rode the Shetland ponies tomato and sausage.

Lovely people and beautiful horses. My mum was really scared initially but they were really understanding and helpful. We had a fab time and will be booking it again.
