Lovely trailways and amazingly tall trees around. Plenty of parking space, fun to have ice-cream after the walks😍🖐️

Very accessible paths with lots of seating scattered among the trees, perfect for sitting and soaking up the ambiance of this natural setting. Picnic area: A selection of picnic tables and benches scattered around. No barbeque allowed.

The arboretum isn't massive but there are some wonderful trees there including Western Redwood and Douglas Fir. There are a few sculptures dotted around and it was nice to see plenty of benches so you can sit and enjoy the tranquility. This is a good place to visit any time of the year but on a fine winter day like today with practically nobody else around it was very peaceful. Dog-friendliness: The arboretum is fenced in to keep the wildlife out so a good place to let your dog roam around, as long as they are well behaved of course.

Tall Trees trail part of the Arboretum. Decided to go there despite it being wet and muddy with a lot of puddles. As part of the trail, the arboretum had put up signs to show you specific special trees including the tallest, heaviest etc. The heaviest was 105 tons. Took the dog. She enjoyed it too. Picnic area: When it is dry, you can have picnics as there are seats around the place.

Lovely walk amongst some majestic big trees. Clear path markings and trees labelled for reference. Not a long walk but plenty of other trails all around.

Magnificent place ... if you ever want to feel tiny these trees will do that really get things in perspectiv! Beautiful walks and the perfect place to feel fully immersed in nature. Restrooms: Very basic but all you need.

Lovely area to walk, tried to park here last year in summer, absolutely heaving, no chance. Came back in October and plenty of space. The walk around the tall trees was lovely in the autumnal weather. Two different routes, the yellow tracked arboretum or the blue track round the tall trees. Didn't visit toilets so can't comment on them.

Visit every year in Autumn. Colours are fantastic. Love to see these tall fir trees too. Parking & toilets available

It's a really picturesque place for a dog walk or to let the kids run off some energy.There are signed walking routes around the woods. There are plenty of cycle routes around the woods also.

What a beautiful place to visit. It's magical to see the variety of trees and feel the calmness that a forest can bring to your senses. Free carpark at both end of the loop walk. Toilet facilities, and it's great for families and dogs, push bikes, and scooters. Other wildlife and insects are there to hear and see plenty of places to picnic and explore and to sit and enjoy 😉 Restrooms: Toilets are in the car park. Dog-friendliness: Definitely great for dogs Picnic area: Beautiful picnic areas with seating and tables.
