Exceptional customer service, great choice of rooms. We had a superior garden room with a lovely outlook. Nice breakfast and choice of in house restaurants. Location of hotel is great for forest and beach walks. Steve Woodrow the manager heads a great team with his exceptional attention to detail. I highly recommend a stay.
Rooms: Very comfy mattress and big beds. Manor House rooms more traditional or garden rooms offer a nice outlook . Fridges in rooms and big flat screen TV. Well equipped bathrooms.
Nearby activities: The Forest walks are so beautiful whatever the season. Spot the wild horses, ponies and donkeys. Lovely local beaches just a 20min drive away. If you love been in nature this is the trip for you.
Food & drinks: Hotel breakfast is excellent and all three in house restaurants are definitely worth trying. Plus lots of local restaurants to choose from.

From the moment we arrived we were treated by all the staff with such a friendly and welcoming manner. It was my mums birthday and all staff we came across wished her Happy Birthday without prompting. We booked the hotel for the Spa, and …

We had a beautiful stay at this beautiful place. Our room was smart and simple and the food and wine was great. The new year's celebration event was well organised with friendly and helpful staff. Who helped with the pre planning and answered any questions promptly. |Will definitely return.

This could have been a three or four star review - but was three because of poor experience at dinner - see separate review of Le Blaireau.||On the positive side, the welcome at reception was excellent and all the staff were friendly. The …

This is my favourite place to stay. So much so I became a member of the spa. I 100% recommend Careys Manor- the rooms are lovely and timeless and the spa facilities are exceptional. The breakfast as well was gorgeous and had quality choices- the bread particularly was amazing. When staying I recommend purchasing the 2hrs in the hydro facilities- top notch spa experience!
Rooms: The rooms are super spacious yet cosy. I always have a wonderful night when staying in one of the rooms!
Nearby activities: Situated by the new forest - there is a lot of out door activities to do around. Hiking particularly recommended since the surrounding area is beautiful. There is also a gym available and a studio where classes are run. I really recommend the yoga classes as they are always fantastic- the intructors are brilliant!
Walkability: There is a train station and bus stops just outside the hotel that you can travel to neighboring towns/areas. There are lots of hiking routes too and general it is a lovely area to walk around in. You may spot the New Forest wildlife here and there such as donkeys and horses!
Food & drinks: Great quality food. I had the breakfast in my most recent stay and would recommend it highly. Meanwhile the Thai restraunt attached to the spa is superb- I recommend the afternoon tea there!

Had a fantastic 4 day Christmas break at Carey's Manor Brockenhurst. ALL staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive. The food was excellent across all meals and restaurants. Hotel was decorated beautifully and was very snug and warm. Only criticism is that bedroom storage space was limited. Great location for New Forest walks and as a base for further afield exploring. Highly recommend Carey's Manor.

Me and my partner stayed for two nights as we wanted a break away in the New Forest. The hotel was perfect. We were greatly warmly and received a free room upgrade. The hotel was clean, well heated, and looked fresh throughout. Our room was enormous and beautifully decorated. it came with everything you would expect, even fresh milk and bottles of water, which was a nice touch. We had a great view overlooking the garden.
We didn't eat dinners at the hotel so I can't review the restaurant however the continental breakfast included in our package was lovely, lots of choice and bu far the best chocolate muffin I have ever tasted! The other thing I wanted to give 5 stars for is the leisure facilities, the pool, jacuzzi, steam room, and sauna that is accessible as a guest was beautiful and well maintained. We also paid extra for the hydrotherapy section, which you are given a wristband for and have access for 2 hours. Well worth it, with access to many different relaxation rooms, such as ice shower, crystal steam room, etc, and a very large hydrotherapy pool with various jets, etc. It was amazing!

Absolutely loved our stay. Was a very last minute getaway (booked the same morning!) and we got upgraded to a garden room which was lovely. Staff were amazing. The sen hydro spa was definitely worth the upgrade and was really relaxing. The zen garden Restaurant (Thai) was faultless. Absolutely incredible food and service. Top marks all round.

We enjoyed our stay at Careys Manor. The location was lovely and scenic. The place itself is absolutely beautiful!
The staff are friendly, polite and professional. Our room was exceptional too.
We really enjoyed the Hydrotherapy, it was so relaxing and exactly what you need for a mini break away from the kids it was pure tranquility.
We chose to go to the Zen Garden for food and it did not disappoint. We will definitely be back, and also be sure to tell people what a wonderful experience we had.
Food & drinks: If you want a properly made Pina Colada, then the waiter knows his cocktails, so you will be in good hands.
