We spent a week at long meadow campsite and although the weather wasn’t brilliant, we couldn’t fault the site. It was clean, tidy and very well kept. We must give a massive shoutout for Jackie and Rick, the wardens of the park as they made …

Had a nice couple of days here with our Camper van on a hard standing pitch with electric. Parking area is a flat concrete base with pea shingle area to side. Good size pitch and well kept grass. Staff very helpful. Plenty of walks through the New Forest with a stream where children can play a short distance from rear camp gate. A pleasant flat walk into Brockenhurst takes about 40 minutes. Whilst we were at Long meadow on site there was a Pizza Van 4 days a week 4pm - 8pm selling fresh cooked to order Pizzas and other items all reasonably priced. Would recommend a stay here

We stayed at the campsite for 3 nights as a group of 4 tents. Absolutely lovely campsite with clean facilities. Good spacing around the tents. Very good for young families as you have a clear line of sight to playing children. Just over the fence there is a lovely shallow river to paddle in and it's a gorgeous walk to Brockenhurst. We will return next summer!

Fantastic camp site. We just had a lovely stay for 3 nights here. Staff were very welcoming and always about if you needed anything. The facilities are very clean and modern and there are plenty of showers and toilets. The pitches are very well spaced out and the location is fab. The fields nearest us had deer in and they were great to look at each morning and evening, kids loved them. There were gates at the back of the camp site that led straight out to the New Forest, super handy for walkers and bikes! Brockenhurst high street is less than 5min drive away and i heard you can walk it too through the forest (we ran out of time to do so) Pubs and restaurant super close by and there is a great stream for paddling a few hundred metres down the road. The rules in place (no BBQs after 9pm and no loud music after 10pm) worked perfectly for us. After a busy day exploring the New Forest having a chilled out vibe and quiet for the kids is great. No riff raff. Wednesday to Sunday there is a converted horse box which baked the most delicious pizzas, fries, garlic breads, desserts and soft drinks. Highly recommend and we shall be back!

This is an absolute gem of a find. Easy to book, fantastic walks around, there was no mud even though it rained a little, but so much around it doesn't really stop the fun. On site laundry really helpful and good value. Staff really helpful, kind and knowledgeable. We're booking for 2024. A really wonderful stay. Nearby activities: Lots of great walks and scenery which is accessible and child and wheelchair friendly Safety: Well laid out lots of great facilities Walkability: Wonderful scenery and really good paths Food & drinks: The on site pizza place wonderful and great value
